They are Mary Claire Samuell and Cynthia Slack. Both are seniors and four year members of the band. Cecile Montgomery was chosen Master Sergeant because of her outstanding contributions to the band. She has received more merits than any other band member and has participated in All-Region, Area, and State band competition. As first chair clarinet, she has received 12 medals in solo and ensemble competition. The band made a first division at marching contest this year with the help of these leaders. 129
