The Pearland track team attended the District Track Meet and it won third place. Five of the boys placed in different events and that made them eligible for the Regional Track Meet. The boys that placed were as follows: Valdemar Correa, Luther Cunning- ham, Jack Best, Herbert Alexander, and Bobby Moore. In the Regional Track Meet only one boy placed in an event and that made it possible for him to attend the State Meet at Austin.
