HE Jayvees came quite close to the .SOO mark by winning seven out of fifteen games Like the varsity, they played exceptionally well at the be' ginning of the season, winning five out of seven league games, but they slowed down and didn't fare very well in the remaining games. No definite captain was chosen, as a new one was picked for each game. - Q J. V. BASKETBALL Manager JOSEPH McCARTHY Coach MR, WYMAN INTRAMURALS BASKETBALL ff f HE Intramural Basketball teams were divided into two leagues, with the Senior, N, Y, U. team winning the Junior-Senior Division Title and the Sophomore Cornell Team taking the Freshman Sophomore honors. ln the playoffs between the two championship teams, the older Senior team outclassed the hard fighting Sophomores to take the school crown. 38

FTER losing their first game to Westwood 26 to 6, the football team play- ed their only night game of the season against Spring Valley and al- though just a few breaks would have pulled the game out of the fire, they ended up on the short end of a 6 to O score. The Park Ridge team was no better than ours, but they managed to get the pigskin over the last white' line, and again P. R. lost 6 to O. R. was ahead I3 to I2 when the final whistle blew. Suffern, the P. S. A. L. champions won the next game 25 to O, In the final game, Nyack won in the last minute when they scored another goal making the score l3 to 7.
