HIS year's baseball team will be made up ot eight regular varsity players from last year and only one newcomer The season has only started, and though the tirst game was lost to Piermont, we are still in there fighting for the championship. WYMAN HE soccer team lost their first two games against Piermont and Spring Valley. Then after tying with Stony Point, they lost a close one to Nyack, Haverstraw was upset by the Pirates in the next game, and although they lost to Congers, they played their best game ot the season. The Championship Congers team expected to run away with their final game, but it was a bitterly fought contest and Pearl River was in the game till the end, showing prom- ise of a good team next year. 36
