Office of the President TO THE STUDENTS AND FACULTY: The school year 1953-54 has brought to each of us opportunities and challenges. It has presented opportunities to students to extend and develop further their educational growth. To the faculty it has presented opportunities for guiding, directing, and counseling -with young people who were seeking to improve themselves intellectually, physically, and socially. This school year has presented challenges to both students and faculty to utilize profitably the opportunities available . To the students and teachers who have worked so diligently to make this book possible, I want to express my sincere appreciation. I sincerely hope that each individual who receives this annual will cherish it as a record of a pleasant and profitable experience here at Pearl River Junior College.
