as i CCM President R. E. L. SUTHERLAND. B.S.. M.A. In the production of a college yearbook, there are certain factors that are more or less constant. These factors appear in the form of arousing student interest, in locating the creative talents necessary for a successful sponsor and staff, in the ever present problem of financing the enterprise, and in the coni- inanding of hard labor and patience to fill in all the details till the task is finished. This Staff, however, was faced with the additional hurdle of over- coming the inertia of a lapse in the publishing of a yearbook during the depression years. In view of these conditions, the present staff is to be con- gratulated on its success in bringing out a book of such merit. and it is the wish of the Administration that this worthy tradition may continue its unbroken course throughout the years of a greater Pearl River College. We wish to acknowledge grateful appreciation for the help of teachers. students, advertisers, and others, who have contributed to the success of this book. Without this assistance the annual would have been impossible. and without this book the current session would have suffered irreparable loss. R. E. L. SUTHERLAND, President. PFQESIDENT
