The class of '28 is taking off about half of the team, not the least of whom is Lance. Nlany a time we have delighted in watching him tackle Bulldogs and such animals, and somehow, we always feel safe when he gets the ball. RELJBEN MAXWELL ............ Monticello, Mississippi A straight-forward. open-hearted youth, capable lo manage his own concerns. Reuben is a hard working, conscientious student. Quiet and unassuming as to dis- position, he has gained many friends among the teachers and students. To his stead- fastness of purpose and his ability to surmount obstacles we give profound admira- tion. CURTIS MCRANEY ............. Quiet in his nature, diligent in his work, and persistent in his purpose, Curtis is one who believes that doing', is better than talking about doing.
