Q.A.A The Girls’ Athletic Association was organized October 6, 1953. The purpose of the club is to promote better sportsmanship and to take part in activities to earn points for a letter. Each month the G.A.A. sponsors a recreation night for the students. Rec reation night con- sists of games and dancing. After the meetings, which are held the first Monday of every month, the club members go to the movie. This is one of the ways to earn points. Monogram Club BOYS’ MONOGRAM CLUB The purpose of the Monogram Club is to promote better sportsmanship. An Athletic award is presented to the football or basketball player when he has taken part in three-fourths of the quarters in any one season. In Baseball, one must par- ticipate in three-fourths of the total games. A player, who for some reason, is short of this goal and deserves entrance into the club may be nominated by a member and a vote taken. The past few years, we have undertaken to have a banquet, composed of all members, sponsors, and special guest. Since they have been enjoyed by everyone, we again plan for another one this spring.
