3.M.A The “Future Homemakers of America’’ is open to all students of Home Economics. The members learn all the proper ways of home-making and have many varied activities, which in- clude puplic exhibits of the projects planned and completed, service to the community in preparing a Christmas box for a needy family, and recreational meetings. Q.A.A The Girls’ Athletic Association was organized October 6, 1953. The purpose of the club is to promote better sportsmanship and to take part in activities to earn points for a letter. Each month the G.A.A. sponsors a recreation night for the students. Rec reation night con- sists of games and dancing. After the meetings, which are held the first Monday of every month, the club members go to the movie. This is one of the ways to earn points. The G.A.A. is a good opportunity for girls interested in athletics.
