Meta Club The Beta Club is the national honorary society of Peansburg High School, being composed of students with outstanding grades, good charac- ter, and qualities for leadership. The Beta projects for this year are publishing the school paper, the “Pearis-Scoop, ” preparing a basket for a needy family at Christmas- time, sponsoring the annual Graduation Dance, and other projects which are helpful to our school. This year the S. C. A. is trying to get better co-operation among the teachers and students as well as the parents. The Student Council on the whole is being responsible for most of the assemblies, shows, and various other activities. In the years to come we hope that the foundation we build will be of great value to our underclassmen as they go toward higher horizons.

Dramatic Club The Dramatics Club has as its purpose to encourage interest and develop talent by appearing before the public in character roles. The Dramatics Club is planning to give several plays this year. The requirement for membership in the Dramatics Club is a minimum of twelve hours work on a play in some capacity, either as a member of the cast, a stage hand, light operator, or property man.
