The Freshmen Class The 1947 Freshmen of Pearisburg High School had an advantage over the green” Freshmen of other years in that they have had a year of orientation. These students are the first to become Freshmen of Pearisburg High School in the newly installed five-year program. The members of the Freshman class immediately fell into line with upper classmen in club activities, band, and sports. The class sponsors are Mrs. Emory Martin and Mr. joe Meredith.
