The Peachtree baseball team began its season with hard and long practices. The Peachtree team was going into a tough region but the team this year had a lot of potential, along with the great head coach Ed Tatum the Peachtree team started out on the right foot with a victory over a good Chamblee team. After the first win the team went on to win its next three games until meeting a very tough Druid Hills team. The game went into ten innings and the final score was 2-1, this handed Peachtree its first loss of the year. Peachtree lost its next game to Southwest Dekalb, but the team got back on the winning streak that they held before and won its next four games. The last four games of the season was divided with a tie to St. Pius, a win against Southwest Dekalb, a win against a tough Westminster team and finally ending its regular season plat with a loss to Shamrock. The team throughout the season was playing together and working hard to get in the playoffs. The team went on to play Sprayberry in the finals, but the Sprayberry team was too impressive for the Patriots to handle.
