We look for leaders but someone has shot them all. We search for tnith but find onlv slogans and emptv promises. We are the first of our kind, the generation of a new age, and this is all we know. V ' ' ' i. [! ' . ' . ' . ' May, 1969 It would be easier to write this dedication if the thoughts which we must express were less important, or if we were less involved in what we will try to say. But it is inevitable that if a dedication has any significance whatsoever for those who present it, then words become insufficient. A dedication should be, most of all, honest and relevant. It should convey the representative opinion of the students who present the award. Many people make us what we are; the choice was a difficult one. Some, however, through their constant interest and limitless patience stand out as friends rather than superiors. They are the individuals, the uncommon few who give of their time and advice without hesitation. Most of all, they care. In choosing this dedication we felt that we could not select any one person as the sole recipient, for there are two whose actions speak louder than the words printed here.
