p ms a Cruise, and to a Circus — and have pledged. We have been inifiot-ed and have been to a banquet. We ' ve joined clubs and have gone to receptions. We ' ve had trials and tribulations with Stunt Night and Society Plays — and with studying. We ' ve been inspired anew by Candlelighting Services, Morning Watch, ond the Christmas Pageant. Two weeks of importance have been Religious Emphasis Week and Peace Loyalty Week. We ' ve played against each other in com- petitive sports. And now at the end of the year we have Baccalaureate Services, Class Day — with the pinning of the colors and the planting of the rose bush, and Graduation. And so, we have come to realize that socially, scholastically, and spiritually Peace is a school of traditions. We have seen the spirit of Peace girls who have come before us and left us our traditions. We — because of a year rich in memorable events — have helped to build Peace while she has helped to build us. In the tomorrows that come we will look back on the yesterdays at Peace and think of the thousands of girls who have led happy lives here. Then we will feel again that surge of joy that WE are Peace girls!

We ' ve shared joys and heartaches alike in a year which has given each of us a formula for happiness. Peace has been good to us. She has freely offered us the best of life ' s gifts and has endowed us with a sense of the beauty that comes in living with others. We ' ve been happy here and most of us have written our Mothers expressing contentment with Peace life. With each new day we hove added another paragraph to our letters as the story of the traditions of other days has unfolded itself before our eyes. We came in green as the grass on front campus. We gradually learned what the bells meant and this was an accomplishment! And after we hod acquired knowledge of this kind, we became ac- quainted with girls who have proved real friends.
