Congratulations to the class of 1962. I have enjoyed working with this class and it is with deep regret that I bid you farewell. The year has been one of pleasant memories. You have my sincere wishes for success and happiness in your future endeavors. timothy McCarthy Vice-Principal To the Class of 1962: May I exercise the privilege of your principal in offering you my sincere wishes for future deserv- ing happiness. At this particular time, as you join the many who are sharing similar joys of achievement, may I remind you that with recognition there is respon- sibility. You are the hope of America, and my associa- tion with you, and others like you, has justified my confidence in the future of our great and glorious country. Long after those of my generation have been, you will be, and America, our country, will be just what you want it to be. This is your heritage but it is also your challenge. Accept it willingly and fulfill it courageously. Always live and act with a pride in a country of which all of us can be rightfully proud. This ideal depends upon the use of your intelligence and especially your integrity. In your happiness be ever humble and remember those who are less fortunate. The boundaries of sacrifice and service must be limitless and extended so that the whole wide world will share our blessings and admire us not through selfish conquest but rather through selfless charity. Perhaps the key word to this concept of a happy life is dedication, — one of the richest and most rewarding wrods in our language. Nobody has symbolized it more than your devoted parents. Never forget them for they will never forget you. They are yours and you are their most priceless possession. Now, farewell! The pleasure of your association the past four years will always be one of my many happy memories. Most sincerely, ARTHUR J. BARRY Principal :
