THE ONE AND ONLY 74 The Pep Rally was a very important day for the guys and me, because when we had that Pep Rally we really felt that everyone in the school was behind the football team and that made it really easy for us and we felt good inside all that day. Michael Bullock 1 went to the Pep Rally, and I was scared at first ' cause I did not know what to do , until I found my friends. We had a ball; the band was really good. Connie McNew The Pep Rally was Okay, the mascot was really cute. I really liked not having to go to class something to look forward to. John Moore The eighth and ninth grade girls had to cheer against each other. The band started playing while the girls were still doing their thing, and everybody was getting off out there . LET’S HAVE MORE The pep rally was alright because 1 participated. Most of the girls say that I shouldn ' t have been cheering with the football players, but they were making the most noise . That is what a Pep Rally is for, isn ' t it? I don ' t feel that I was being grown or frisky, I was being me and having fun! Pep Rallies are certainly a waste of time. When you go you can ' t see anything anyway. The teachers watch you like a hawk . They make sure you don ' t do anything wrong. Some people just cause trouble. I don ' t think there has been any trouble with these Pep Rallies, but there probably will . 76 Greene, Patricia Greene, Terry Griffin, Charlotte Griffin, Patricia Gurley, Cynthia Hale, Deanna Hall, Kay Hamlin, Preston Hanks, Yvette Hansard , Gary Hansard, Paula Hardman, Faye Nadine Jackson Patty Webster Pep Rallies are a ball of confusion but it gives us a chance to hear our band and see our football players. I think they are great but someone must think not, because we have had only one. Petersburg High School has one every Friday . I think the 9th graders are mature and know how to act, if only someone would give us a chance.
