The DECA Chapter owns and operates the Distributive Shop. They sell candy and school supplies, and with the money they earn they buy equipment and displays for the Distributive Shop and classroom. Every member of the Chapter has the opportunity to work behind the counter, selling, stocking, buying, and completing a physical inventory of merchandise as well as operating. A week before Christmas the Chapter members held a cookie sale and before that sold donuts to raise money for a field trip in the spring. They attended a fall Rally in Ludenburg where they participated in the Gong Show. A few people from Peabody did a 50 ' s number. The Chapter officers also went to an Officers Training Conference at Richard Bland College where they talked about their duties as officers. All the DECA Chapter officers in the district attended the meeting.
