FLAG GIRLS AND RIFLE GIRLS Being a flag girl is very exciting. I’m a person who likes to travel and meet new faces and places. It ' s hard work, but very fun. I think our best performance was at Virginia State College. And the second most important performance was in the Hopewell Christmas parade. Patricia Ann Jones 113 FLAG GIRLS Mr. Brower sponsors and super- vises the girls assigned to carry the flags. Performances were given in the Christmas Parades in Hopewell and Colonial Heights. They also were invited to Virginia State Col- lege.
