Woodson, Andre Wonel, Darryl Wrenn, Joseph Wyatt, Mitchell Wyer, Judy Young, Wyatt Craig Zvirzdin, Cindy Balthrop, Princess Burnette, Callisto Byrd, Patricia Pride is leaving Peabody in the Bicentennial year. Pride is giving Peabody a roaring cheer. Pride is the classes to which we go , But mostly, it’s the smiles on our faces that glow. Pride is the lunch to which we fly . Pride is the onward look , toward the sky . Pride is the knowing of an educated child , But mostly, it ' s trying to learn a bit for a while. Pride is to enter the open doors and halls Pride is two semesters , Spring and Fall . Pride is the teams we set out to beat , But mostly, it ' s our six years of undefeat. Pride is the teachers , for without we could not make it . Pride is responsibility and we all agreed to take it . Pride is the student council , better known as SCA . But mostly , all of these will help us to see a better day . Pride is the headlines we accidentally set . Pride is the goals we’ve already met. Pride is the clubs we’ve formed one by one. But mostly, the standards we’ve set as day was done. Pride is the old PHS spirit . Pride is to let all the people hear it . Pride is the halls which are always full and loud. But mostly, it’s Peabody for which we are proud. So as the freshmen leave with all their feelings mixed , They proudly sign out as the Pride of ' 76. ’’ Donna Parham 55
