$ 9 movies . . . .parties . . . .concerts .... memories In twenty years, if you were to look through your scrapbook for the fads and fashions of 1978 and 1979, you'd find many of the things on these two pages. Clothing for females was layered and skirts were kept long, the style for guys didn't change much. Hair for both guys and gals was styled. There were also many popular sayings floating around the halls of P.H.S. Head rush, Freak out, Real terror, and Oh wow, were some of the famous quotes used by the guys. Performers Steve Martin and the Blues Brothers, and T.V. shows Saturday Night Live and Mork and Mindy, ranked high in the popularity vote of the '78-'79 school year. hair .... clothing .... style .... fashion Different boots were worn with jeans and .dresses. Dragging Main Street was Buddies of the same sex like Rick Cox and Shawn Kerns were seen around the halls of P.H.S. Brian Stucky models one of the many vests seen around Arlen Gfeller and Miss Schmidt show off the permed look.
