INSTRUMENTAL AWARDS The Peabody Instrumental Department came home from State Music Festival at Fhnporia with top honors. The High School Band received a I rating in tough competition. But even more important than the rating, according to Band Director Marshall, was the professional attitude displayed by the Peabody students. It was obvious to all present that our group was PROUD to be representing Peabody and to be part of such a quality band. Top: Receiving II ratings were the soloists: Marty Vogelman- Trombone, Albert Throckmorton- Trumpet, Jon Kessler-Trombone, Mike Hodges-Sousaphone, Candy Grosse-Saxophone. Center: The Clarinet Trio A (Cathy Nightengale, Kim Avery, and Cheryl Buller.) received a II rating. Bottom: The Clarinet Trio B (Teresa Weems, Cynthia Stucky, and Brenda Gillet) received a III rating.
