Present-day world conditions offer an unworded ehallenge to the coming gener- ation to succeed where its elders have failed: namely, to make this world an abode of peace and brotherly love and regard for one another. Our generatiou's way is plainly marked: first, to the hzittlefield and a sueeessful termination of the earth's conflicts, with young' eyes scanning' the seas, and strong hands at the controls in the skies, then to the peace table where youthful optimism and uninhibited foresight may find the means for Creating a genuinely lasting truce. Only hy that road can the young people of today find their ideal. The world which they will leave to the generations following them should he free of disastrous Conquest, free for zldvztneenient in science for the aid of mzinkiud, not for its destruction, Continued progress in social work, and advzinrement ii: the realms of art and literature.
