BAND COMMITTEE Back Row Kenneth Hartman, Charles Hummel. Front Row Charles Parry, Anne Sweeney, Irv Lerner. OR several years, the Peabody faculty has been looking forward to a senior class that would take the lead in a drive for new band uniforms. 'lio the january class goes this honor. VVe are proud to say we did just that. Our class acknowledges the cooperation shown by all the senior students during the IZA presidential campaign and the successful band uniform drive. Through these campaigns, we have managed to bring back the old Peabody spirit. The student attendance has increased beyond all expec- tations at the varsity meets, and the Rhumba Band Concert tickets have been a complete sell-out for every performance5 and increasing interest has been shown in our senior dances and club hops. lt is quite gratifying to know that our class helped in reviving school spirit in every Peabody activity. Our one hope is that the following senior classes will maintain this newly aroused 'fschool spirit. lVe are grateful to Mr. Nliller and to the members of the faculty for granting us the many privileges that made possible our carrying out the various programs we sponsored this semester. VVe, also, want to thank the other classes for their loyal support of our undertakings, made suce cessful only because We Worked together. , ., . and... ,, ,W 26 , - WY, , . ,, School Spirif is develope y well-pfamzefl campazq s
