As adviser of the 1962 edition of the Lion, I, with the able assistance of the yearbook sponsors, have had the privilege of correlating and summeriz- ing the activities of the current gradu- ating class for the past five years . I was guided in this capacity by the following tenet: A yearbook is a catalogue of events designed to reflect the high school career of the current senior class. This yearbook is a pictorial history of life around Peabody and is presented as a monument of the achievements of the ”62 class . I sincerely hope that the 1962 Lion achieves that goal.
