GETTING READY TO PLAY THE GAME OF LIFE The highlight of every football season in Payson High School is the annual football Banquet. Our team did an outstanding job this year and the banquet held in their honor was a special tribute to them. This occasion presented an opportunity to review the many achievements of our great team. This ban- quet has helped to preserve the many memories of the 1968-1969 football season and has made it a season for all in attendance to remember. It was truly a great season and the banquet did much to highlight it. 41

The sophomore football team has been preparing this year to win as a varsity team in the next two years. They have practiced hard and train- ed to keep in top shape. Many times they sacrificed activities and stayed home with sore muscles and bruises for the chance to play.
