l UNHCR V SHT CHEERTLE DEL? The Juniors were led by a very spirited group of cheerleaders. The Junior Varsity Cheerleaders lead the vocal support for the J.V. team with pep and enthu- siasm. Their strong support helped to push the Mighty Lions on to another victory. Keeping school spirit up at the Junior Varsity games came under the duties of these five DGDDY students. Sandra Draper, Wendy Shuler, Elaine Thompson, Kristy White, Bobbie Neil, and Jay Jolley sparked enthusiasm in the pep assemblies and games. They spent many extra hours planning new and different ways to promote school spirit. A successful year is attributed to them. 118

PHQMQRE CCHEEIRLE DE R l The Sophomore Cheerleaders added a great deal to our School Spirit this year. They worked hard to bring spirit to the Sophomore games. Their peppy, enthusiastic yells were a vital part of the spirit at our Pep Assemblies. They supported the Sophomore teams in a great way and they were appreciated for their efforts. They worked many hours after school making posters and decorations to pro- mote school spirit. They were very successful. Julie Boswell, Karen Taylor, Lynette Glasser, Paulette Manwell, Renee Peart, Wendy Wilson did a great job representing the Soph- omores and deserve a great deal of thanks for their successful efforts.
