It was not in their win-loss record that they proved themselves but in their ability to meet their challenges with a never tiring effort. The Sophomores showed great potential for a future basketball team. Their skill anoksportsmanship all add up to a great season for the Sophomores. The boys practiced many long hours to reach their goal of perfection and brought much honor to Payson High. The Sophomore team was coached by Coach Kimball. He worked very hard to teach the boys the fundamentals of basketball. He helped the boys develop their many skills and gave them the desire to win.
