Third Row: Bills, Gay, Francom, Pickering, Rothe, Rindlisbacher, Coach Durrant. wrestling The wrestling team of Payson High School won three matches and lost five this year. lt was Coach Durrant's first year as wrestling coach at Payson and he did a very capable iob. It was a rebuilding year for the Lions with many Juniors and Sophomores on the squad. Derrell Johnson and Lynn Bills were the only boys who represented Payson in the state meet. Johnson placed fourth in his class. Elton Draper was captain of the team with Leon Gay and Derrell Johnson acting as co-captains. Much will be expected of next years team. The Payson High School track team and field team supervised and trained by Coach Durrant are looking forward to a very successful year.
