' 'F 1' WENM 1 Marching with pep and precision the Pep Club was dressed in green sheath dresses, while shoes, white gloves and white chenile emblems with PAYSON extending across the back. They were led by advisor Miss Johnson and officers: Mona Rae Lamb, Peggy Kay, Dessie Webster and LaRae Robbins. The cheerleaders, Mardene Hermansen, Diann Shepherd, Kathryn Mortensen, May Ivey and Joe Leen Forsey sporting short dresses of dark green velveteen with white underskirts and shoes. Small green covered buttons held tabs on skirt and sleeves. The block P set off the back and trimming the left shoulder was each girl's name written in white. The cheerleaders led the school in enthusiastic yells and were supported by the Pep Club, studentbody, basketball fans and players. A successful year in school spirit and sportsmanship can be attributed to the co-operative efforts of the Pep Club and Cheerleaders. LO
