student hndy officers We, the Student Body Officers, wish to thank you, the studentbody for your admirable co-operation and support this year. We feel that the year has really been a successful one and hope the future years will be the same. The Student Body Officers have done their best to fulfill their campaign promises by working to the best of their ability to make this a better school year for all. Much credit for the work done by the Student Council should go to our advisor, Mr. Sudweeks, whose very capable guidance contributed much to the success of the school year. Paul Staheli, our President, showed his fine qualities of leadership in a very capable way as he carried out his duties and responsibilities. His energetic spirit and keen sense of humor have really heiped to make this one of the best years old P. H. S. has ever had. Vice-President, Jimmy Yamisaki, worked hard planning and helping to make this year a success. His fine characteristics and personality contributed much to upbuilding of our school government. Through his many helpful ideas and hard work, he has fulfilled the iob as Vice-President successfully. Betty Jean Tanner, as Secretary, showed her ability in keeping records and giving freely of her ideas to make our school function better. With personality and charm she has become a favorite of the students. She has put forth an untiring effort through the past year. Carolyn Borgeson, our Business Manager for the past year, has capably taken over all the business procedures that have taken place within the Student Council. Her thoughtful remarks and witicism have brightened the lives of many and have helped in the success of the year by creating school spirit. She has a good sense of iudgement to take care of the business matters of our school and has done so successfully. -14-
