614-M ' Does it not seem hard to realize that the timid group of children that entered the Kindergarten class back in l94l is now the class of dignified Seniors with strength and beauty and a wealth of experience written on on their various features. Yet, such is the fact. lt is hard to believe that a lot of silly, empty-headed, rattle-brained youngsters could ever develop into such noble, handsome, thoughtful, and wise-appearing Seniors. It is, indeed, something for which to be thankful. To whom shall we give the credit for this great achievement? To the teachers who spent four difficult years trying to put something into these empty heads. To the Superintendent for his wise choice of instructors and the care with which he has prepared our schedule of study. It has been a difficult, tedious task, but they succeeded in putting some valuable infor- mation into the heads of these boys and girls. Janice Lammers and Donna Windels have been together since Kinder- garten days. l am sure these two students have weathered a good many storms and found school life was not all a bed of roses. A great deal of our trouble and annoyances were through faults of our own, this we must admit. ln 'l95'l twelve freshmen entered the ninth grade. Now, four years later, 16 are to graduate. Through our four years we have gained four students from other schools which we are very happy about. This year we chose Scarlet and Silver for our class colors, and the Tea Rose for our flower. Our motto is, What we are to be, we are now becoming. lt is our determination as members of the Senior Class to make each of lives count for something in this world. Regardless of how difficult the path may be in the future, we feel that the memory of our school years will be a great help to us in our onward and upward climb.
