It was a great rebuilding year. We had two girls advance from District to Sectional. As individuals, they finished as follows: Carla Patterson, (15:08)-48th; and Peggy Grone-meyer, (15:58)-66th. This year's captain (above) and the only senior team member was Carla Patterson. She is an exceptional leader and the team will miss her next year.

Craig Stockman was one of this year's co-captains. Craig had an outstanding season and finished 14th in State. Coach Guyot. throughout the years, has given the team a special meaning and pride; to him a great amount of gratitude is given. First row: Donnie Foster. Dave Carson. Brad Ashmore. Mike Livermore. Second row: Jay Holland. Roy Havener. Troy Parsons. Dennis Glad. Darcy Rust. Craig Stockman. Rick Schrodt. Back row: Chris Dremann. Joel Rasmus. Randy Kinney. Jeff Harrison, Doug Ehmen, Mike Lantz. Mark Kavajecz. This year's season was mainly characterized as a rebuilding one. Throughout the year the members of varsity squad changed frequently with the strengthening of the team. Craig and Mark frequently led the pack throughout the year. Both will be missed next year, but will be replaced by strong hopefuls. Among this group will be sophomore Jeff Harrison who often was also up front. Coach Guyot pressed the team early in the season which helped it greatly later on. All through the year the team always kept a high spirit and that helped to hold the team together.
