They looked forward to those “competitive” teams, and came out looking like winners, whether they won or lost. When they lost, they lost with honor and pride. Coaches: Rick Glenn and John Bailey. THE FUTURE MUSTANGS 20 This year's Paxton Junior Varsity Football team consisted of many freshmen, 15 in all, with 6 sophomores to help them out. This was the third year of partial Freshman football since it was dropped. The J.V. football team was coached by Mr. Glenn and Mr. Bailey; this was Mr. Bailey’s second year as coach. The freshmen showed improvement throughout the year. These boys will be the future Mustangs at Paxton, and will carry on the tradition of good ball playing. Paxton's record was 1-9 this year.
