Banquet honors Paxton athletes Paxton’s football players and cross country runners were honored Friday night at the Thirty-third Annual Paxton high school Fall Sports Banquet, spon- sored by the Paxton Service club. Senior halfback Doug Mikeworth was named the football team’s most valuable player and the outstanding back. This season, Mikeworth gained 530 yards rushing in 88 carries for an average of 5.1 yards per carrv.
