A Homecoming Victory Is................. . . . the hope of building a winning float, only to find you don't have any sponsors. ... the parade of floats, the marching band, cheerleaders, and Homecoming Court, as they make their way to Memorial Field. . . . the announcement of the winners, the float and queen, the introduction of the Mustang football squad, and the moments after the bonfire. ... a pep rally stirring school spirit, the tense football players, and Marvel the Mustang. . . . over 5000 fans filling the stands, the moments before the first kickoff, and a Paxton Mustang win over the Rantoul Eagles, 20-14. . . . decorating the school gym, the dance featuring Mad John Fever and tired, but happy PHS students at the end of a great 72 Homecoming.
