Defense Attorney Stevens claimed Karen Andre was innocent, while District Attorney Flint used every means in his power to convict her. “The Night of January 16th’’ was presented on November 15th and 16th, by the Junior Junior Play Class. The cast included: Marvin Archer, Mike Dorsey, Wayne Fan-cher, Delon Fox, Bob Frump, Dick Harrell, Wayne Johnson, Nick Lewis, Lucreta Miller, Larry Niccum, Alexa Noble, Denny Eichelberger, Judi Rine, Diane Perry, Jerry Rodeen, Carol Rohlfing, Sheila Roisland, Luwana Tarlton, Donna Sharp, Leah Yancey, and the audience. 13

Christmas When the curtain had closed on the Christmas Program, the students were faced with eight schoolless days, interrupted only by a dance that evening. The fact that they wouldn’t be in class for over a week didn't seem to bother them as they rushed home. The previous week had been filled with events: that last test in every class before vacation,- decorating Christmas trees; the A.F.S. tree and contest; and planning the Christmas program skits. Ending the year was the Christmas Program on Thursday afternoon. It included a song by the French students; a choral reading by the Speech classes; and the faculty skit featuring “cool'’ Mr. Shields as “Frosty, the Snowman.” Merry Christmas 14
