School is a chain of events, broken occasionally by homework or exams. Represented in this section are these activities of the past year. From Freshman Week until Class Day, such events are our measure of time and the things we work for. They make studying worthwhile and school something more than a list of assignments. Highlights are the things which make school interesting and worth remembering. 6

I wanna hold your han-an-an-an-an-and. 8 Freshman Week Boys clad in knee pants and pajama tops . . . girls with their hair hanging and their faces half made-up .. . they came. Green . . . but no greener than most Freshman classes. They came with some apprehension, but stayed to enjoy it. At the Initiation Assembly we found that they could take it . . . that they were good sports . . . and that we liked them. At the Welcome Dance which climaxed Freshman week we let them know it. Welcome to Paxton High, Freshmen! We Had twenty-three percent fewer cavities.
