The Student Council's . . . assembly programs for this year included Bobo the Magician, Ken Smith, Artist and Cartoonist, and the chorus of Illinois Normal University. Their annual projects of Freshman Initiation and dance, Homecoming and the Christmas party were outstanding. To raise money, the council again sold candy, cokes and lead pencils. New ventures were the sale of key chains and car stickers. The second semester the Student Council began the study of the recommendations of the Problems class, on how the students might improve our high school. —28—
