S. wishes to thank her cheerleaders whose leadership helped maintain a high athletic morale. Betty Amerman, Jeanne Parker, and James Purtill led the cheers during the football season, while loan Wirth replaced Jimmy Purtill for the basketball season. Dinners given by the Paxton Service Club and the Vevigs, as well as the annual athletic banquet, enlivened the memories of a truly successful year in the minds of all P. C. II.
