After losing the first two games, a win raised spirits: hut two more losses sent them tumhling downward to a new low. ilihen came lslomecoming. the needed inspiration for a win. .Xlthough the next game was a loss. the team played well and it was actually the turning point of the season. The schedule was completed with a win. a tie, and a narrow loss. 'lihe team had acquired more experience with each game and by the last game was a dirlerent and much-improved team.
