Through an unforgiv- able error by one deb, the group finds themselves on a boat going the wrong way. XY'ith guile and flattery, they persuade the Captain to turn his Show- boat, the Southern Belle, toward New Orleans. The trip down the Mississippi is eventful and hilari- ous but is overshadowed by the :altercation of the hotel cleaners after the debs reach New Orleans. The debs are played by Peggy Bowen, Mary Ann Knight, Shirley Loadholtz, Myrick twins, Theresa Tasso, and Janice Wills. The Captain of the South- ern Belle is Jackie Thurm and the Steward is Nancy Griffin. The chorus line members are Nancy Hig- don, Betty Lou Lloyd, Gayle Goff, Donna XX'illiamson, Mary Louise Brown, Eloise Bone, Marianne Higgin- botham, Shirley Langford, Jean Chung, and Jeanette Riley.
