-A .' ;-  v PA WNEE HIGH SCHOOL Advisor —Duane Albrecht Editor—Resa Blanton Asst. Editor—Marge Busby During the past year at Pawnee High School, there have been new acquaintances, new experiences, and many new and exciting challenges. We have faced many triumphs and unfortunate defeats. The triumphs have been memorable, while the defeats have been experiences from which we have learned. The school community has expanded in its enrollment, although it has not decreased its opportunities to the students. Being able to have a student lounge is just one of the many privileges of a student of P.H.S. Each student begins to appreciate a deep sense of pride for their school, their sports, their organizations, and other activities while attending P.H.S. With sincere hope for all the future experiences of the students to attain this feeling and knowledge, the Yearbook Staff of Pawnee High School presents this 1974-75 yearbook to the students and faculty of the Pawnee Schools. Contents INTRODUCTION.......................... 1 MEMORY................................ 3 SENIORS............................... 4 ORGANIZATIONS.........................17 FACULTY...............................24 JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL....................30 CLASSES...............................35 ATHLETICS.............................49 FAREWELL..............................77 ADVERTISEMENTS 81 We the Indian Echoes Staff on behalf of the senior class wish to dedicate the 1975 Indian Echoes to Mary Ann Ebe, who was a member of our class and would have graduated with us this year. We hope this book will keep alive the memories we have of them for many years to come. In memoriam Susie Austin You cannot judge the future by the past. Terry Agans All great men must die; but I'm just beginning to live. Scott Andring I was made for something. What was it? Steve Alexander I may be as good as 1 please if I please to be good. Patti Bailey To know her is to like her and she is well known. Terry Bethel Be silent and safe--silence never betrays you. Resa Blanton The behavior of a human being is always unpredictable. Tom Dicks There is no great genius without a touch of madness. Kent Comerford The door to knowledge is labeled pull; I pushed. Mike Clark Life is what you make of it Rick Carter I get along with a lot of help from my friends. Kevin Castleman After a battle, sleep is best Dan Edwards He is every inch a gentleman. Larry White Don't study your lessons, lessen your study. Rhonda Wright The real secret of life that leads to happiness is charity. MEMORIES Fresh printed memories, Form the pages of my mind And the times we’ve shared together We now must leave behind. I’ve glanced upon the pages That will never seem to end And in the halls Of tomorrow’s world I can say I’ve found a friend. Each time I dream of the future One question still remains. Why did it pass so quickly As the endless time glass gains? It’s passed up all my yesterdays And keeps me moving on But I will still be smiling For we’ve never really gone. And I must say that I’ve enjoyed The good times with the bad And I would take it back again If time were all I had. Yet I see the light of tomorrow With the knowledge I have gained And the warmth of someone’s friendship That needn’t be explained. It’s not so hard to say good-bye As I had thought it would be For in the halls of P.H.S. There will always Be part of me. 12 BY MARLA MANNING Senior Activities Most likely to succeed.” Barb Millik and John Howerton “Always Talking” Shelley Sabo and Tom Dicks Senior “Best all Around” Rose Bernardi and Donald King “Most Athletic” Patti Bailey and Mike Clark “Best Dressed” Karen Nerone and Rick Carter “Most Friendly” Gee-Gee Ferreira and Larry White Who's Who “Class Wits” Gwen Montgomery and Scott Andring “Best Personality” Rhonda Wright and Kevin Castleman “Mr. Miss” Susie Austin and John Martin “Most Courteous” Resa Blanton and Dave Sloman “Always Smiling” Christine McClenagan and Dirk Vangeison First row: A.
