SPONSOR-Mrs. Edmundson SPONSOR-Mr. Sandstrom SENIORS —Facing the Future — May 27, 1966--Graduation! At last the day to which we have long looked forward has arrived. Long will each of the 36 members of our class remember the thrills and chills of this big day the little things that make it so--new dresses and new suits, caps and gowns, smiles and tears, congratulations, and good-byes. Suddenly, as the president of the school board calls our names and hands us our diplomas, we turn our backs on four of our happiest years. During these years we have received the knowledge to make bright the future which will come after the clouds of international struggle have disappeared. To obliterate these clouds, we will all work together. So it is that we stand with chins up and hopes high facing the future on this Commencement Day. Farewell, P.H.S. and thanks for everything. We sjjall never forget you.

SEATED: Pat Hailey, Mike Meggison, Sandra Gant, Dean Webor, and Gerri Maxey. SECOND ROW: Duane Amyer, Patty Eson, Doug Thomas, and Virginia Golden. THIRD ROW: Ernie Irwin, Linda Castleman, Tom Bowen, Sherilyn Cashen, Denny Seiz, and Bill Thomas. JUNIORS Industrious (So We Hear!) The juniors are now ready to enter the last phase of their public education. These three-year students are now in the middle of the stream, and the swift current has already begun to carry them into their senior year. Life-long friendships have been kindled within P. H.S. Friends have been made who will follow the juniors on through his or her future education or work. Ail students have had an equal opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities and have learned to work together to accomplish a desired result. With their goal of graduation just around the corner, the seniors of 1967 have their days at P. H. S. numbered. To them is given the job of carrying on the work of the Senior Class of next year. We are sure that they will continue the tradition.
