Seniors of Pawnee High School 1966: Four years have really flown. It doesn’t seem possible that it has been four years since you were Pawnee’s eighth grade graduates. We, the faculty of Pawnee High hope that we have made some contributions to your lives. We know that you as a class, and many of you as individuals have made many contributions to Pawnee schools. We hope that we have helped each of you to develop a well balanced personality consisting of at least four important traits--namely: physical, mental, social and moral. With each of these traits well developed may you go forth to achieve your desired goals. May the best of everything be yours in the years ahead. Good luck and happy traveling. To you we must admit; we shall leave you many problems; many tasks we couldn’t do. We shall leave a world unfinished. That shall need the best of you and we wonder as we see you going forth into the world, if you know the things that wait you in the places you shall fill. Mr. William Allen, Superintendent Class of 1966: Your courage, industry, ability to get along with others, and your other good character traits have given me a deep and abiding faith in your ability to face and cope with the future. Congratulations on your past accomplishments and best wishes for your future ones. Mr. Jessie Harkness, Principal Seniors: From the day the Class of 1966 entered Pawnee High School, it was obvious that this was a class that was going to make a fine name for itself during its four year stay here. Those four fast moving years have passed by now and we can look at the record and see that the Class of 1966 gave an excellent account of itself in every phase of school life. I sincerely want to thank each of you in the class for the four good years you have given this school and community. I hope you will continue to show the same driving spirit you displayed here as you move on into adult responsibilities. Your ambitions should carry you far. Mr. Axel Sandstrom, Assistant Principal
