In August 1959, the smallest class to enter PHS began its four years struggle in the new high school. We were new and a new life opened up to us. Some of us were to become leaders, some followers, we began the true basis of our future lives. Our officers were: President-Lucille Jenkins; Vice-President-Linda Parker; Secretary -Karen Popovich; Treasure-Tom Warrington. Our second year was better than the first. We knew the ropes and what was to be expected of us. We also realized there was a long road ahead of us. We knew that our education was first, but we still had pleanty of time for other things. Our officers were: President-John Murphy; Vice-President-Mark Brady; Secretary-Bonnie Davis; Treasure-Tom Warrington; Student Council Representative-Ann Cashen. Our Junior year was our busiest year. We presented our class play, The Whole Towns Laughing directed by Mr. Lewis. Being Juniors meant the Prom was up to us. Younger Than Springtime was the theme of our Prom. Mrs. Palmer assisted us on the Prom, and Mrs. Welch helped with our banquet. When we were not busy with other things we had a candy concession. Our officers were: President-Lucille Jenkins; Vice-President-Jack Nichols; Secretary-Bonnie Davis; Treasure-Ann Cashen; Student Council Representative-Karen Popovich. The Senior year seemed to be filled with mixed emotions. Some of us are happy we are leaving and others will be reluctant. We entered high school with high hopes and maybe even a few fears. We hope the education we gained will help us with our future. The memories we have collected will remain with us always. Our officers were: President-Jack Nichols; Vice-President-Judy Clark; Secretary-Karen Popovich; Treasure-Tom Warrington; Student Council Representative-Bonnie Davis.
