Not only was Donnie a friend to the students, but to the teachers as well. Donnie s life will be remembered as one of great success. He lived his brief years so fully and well, we are reminded that it isn t the quantity but the quality of life that counts. Donnie was elected most popular boy of the freshman class in 1965. He was a member of the student council, yearbook staff, the Beta Club, State Honor Society, and the football and basketball squads. Because Donnie was dear to each of us, fond memories of him will linger with us always-- To live in the hearts one leaves behind is not to die. 31 FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS Pres. Max Heisler Vice Pres. But then any Olds or Rambler from MARCUM OLDSMOBILE AND RAMBLER is keen. Why not see for yourself. FRONTIER MOTORS Inc WATCH OUT! Ernest Avant gives the keys to the Driver Training car to Debbie Davis as he concentrates on getting out of the way. Janelle Ferguson and Vicki Maltsberger, however, are ready to climb in--they're not afraid. And no one is afraid of a malfunction in the car--it's from FRONTIER MOTORS where the dependables are. MARXS I LIKE IT. Both Jeanne Yadon and Jill Hamburger give their approval to the fashions shown to them by Inez Kline. But they said this to every item they found at MARX'S, for no matter what you like or want it's at Ma rx' s. PEPPER'S JUST LIKE HOME. Dixie Maltsberger thinks that posing is fun as long as she can sit in one of the many comfortable chairs found at PERRINE'S FURNITURE. But even when you're not posing, a chair from Perrine's is real comfy-.-just ask Dixie. NO I DON'T THINK SO Say Melvin Negelein and Jerry Skidgel after hearing Don Sayre and Harold Sorrell suggest that building a house would be a good project. But if they did, they said they'd get their materials from ANTRIM LUMBER CO. They also know that whether you're building, redecorating or just doing it yourself, Antrim's is the source. CLAUDE NIST ABSTRACT IT'S LIKE THIS. . .Claude Neet tries to explain what goes on at CLAUDE NEET'S ABSTRACT to his son, Glenn, and to Oren Osborn. Exclaims Max Skidgel to Steven Thomas. But he really did know that it was there all the time. This is just part of the complete service received at SKIDGEL'S CONOCO STATION. So if you have a hunch that your car has oil in it, or that it doesn't, stop in at Skidgel's and see. MINIATURE __ RACEWAYS PIT STOP! Keith Cheatham's miniature racer is in need of a few repairs and Chris Lewis will surely offer a few suggestions. Why shouldn't he, his Manta is only a half lap back, now, and is closing fast. The MINIATURE RACEWAYS of-fers all the excitement of the real thing. So if you've ever wanted the thrill of shooting a Ferrari down a straight at 200 mph, then, get in the groove.
