'Dedicat STTAKILET SMITH The Bruin Staff of 1963 dedicate this book to Stanley Smith, a member of the Pawnee Board of Education from 1942 to the present. Mr. Smith served as President of the Board from 1947 to I960. His unselfish service for these past twenty one years will not soon be forgotten. It will be impossible for us to repay you for your time, your effort, your interest, or for the encouragement you have given to the youth of this area. We sincerely hope, however, that you will be repaid in part by the personal satisfaction that will come to you through the knowledge that you have had a responsible part in the moulding of each of our lives.
