u BRUIN ROYALTY Thanks to the Reverend Clarence E. Saint, pastor f the Christian church in Pawnee, upon w-hose shoulders fell the task of choosing: the Bruin Queen, the King:, and the six attendants. The next few pages show the wealth of beauty that we have in the Pawnee High School. These beauties were chosen by Reverend Saint, who based his choice upon the multiple traits of beauty, charm, personality, and poise. The annual king, Noble Moss, was chosen for his good looks, personality and carriage. Miss Marilyn Marlin, Senior, holds the chosen place as Bruin Queen of 1947-1948. We know that Marilyn rightfully deserves this honor because of her queenly traits. The following six attendants were chosen by the same multiple traits: La Verna Ray Mathews, Senior Violet Ann Cox, Senior Marlene Lone Chief, Junior Pat Trousdale, Junior Sue Burkdoll, Freshman Shirley Graham, Freshman
