Administration Our school functioned smoothly this year due to the efforts of our competent administration. The office was constantly bustling with activity as the students came in with their problems, and the administrators did their best to help them out. Our Su- perintendent was Mr. James Robison. Mr. Max Martin completed his first year as principal. Office secretarial work was done by Mrs. Georgia Mar- tin. 5

School Board Our school board is com- posed of nine persons elected by the voters of District 1. The board sets up the budget, revises policies, and considers contracts of the teachers. Of- ficers of the board were Alfred W. Raper, President; Glenn Binder, Secretary; and Doris Farwell, Treasurer. The school board met as a group once a month, when they would spend a long evening working on the problems of the school system. Faculty V, Mr. Bruce Haughton taught commercial courses, served as freshman class sponsor and as annual advisor. Mr. Larry Ribble was basketball coach, assistant foot ball coach, and girls’ track coach. He taught civics, American government, health, and physical education. Mr. LaVon Covault instructed seventh and eighth grade math and freshman general math. He also coached junior high sports and sponsored the seventh grade. Mrs. Harriet Dokken taught sophomore and senior English, directed the junior class play and served as Drama Club sponsor. 6 HAAS COAST-TO-COAST STORE
