The head coaching jobs for football and track were filled by Mr. Larry Brown who also taught world history and physical education. The physical science, chemistry, and physics classes were instructed by Mr. Ronald Wenninghoff. He also served as co-sponsor of the junior class. Mrs. Helen Johnson taught German I and II. She also taught sophomore English. The sophomore class was sponsored by Mr. Terry Har- low who taught geometry, Algebra I and II, trigonometry, and driver’s training. 7

Faculty V, Mr. Bruce Haughton taught commercial courses, served as freshman class sponsor and as annual advisor. Mr. Larry Ribble was basketball coach, assistant foot ball coach, and girls’ track coach. He taught civics, American government, health, and physical education. Mr. LaVon Covault instructed seventh and eighth grade math and freshman general math. He also coached junior high sports and sponsored the seventh grade. Faculty This year the special education classes at Pawnee City High School were taught by Mrs. Elsie Bartram. Mrs. Daisymae Eckman instructed the vocational home- making and senior modem problems classes and served as F.H.A. advisor. The band was conducted by Mr. Ray Gilstrap who also gave instrumental music lessons. As well as teaching freshman and junior English, Mr. Garry Klein was guidance counselor, golf coach and assistant basketball coach. 8 COLWELL DRUG COMPANY
